CR, is also known as "Polychloroprene rubber" or, more commonly, "Neoprene rubber". Which is an extremely versatile synthetic rubber.

CR is a good resistant polymer to solvent and oil, it also resists degradation from sun, ozone and weather. These properties make it a good base material for gloves, shoes, tyres, and protective suits.
